JELL PHOTOGRAPHY POLICIES
Jell Solutions is committed to quality and total customer satisfaction. CD’s will be delivered within 7 – 10 business days after the photographs have been taken. If CD’s are lost or damaged within 30 days of delivery a replacement will be issued to you at no additional charge. If the 30 days has expired we will gladly issue a replacement disc for a charge of $20.00. Only the highest quality photos are edited and included on the CDs for quality assurance purposes. There are hundreds of images taken and many of them are duplicates, however, if the client wishes to obtain an additional disc containing all raw images we will be glad to accommodate your needs for an additional fee.
JELL GRAPHIC DESIGN POLICIES
Exact pricing of your graphic design project is determined by both the complexity of the design and the scope of how the final product is to be used and will be determined after consultation with the designer. A formal quote with all estimated expenses will be issued within 2-3 business days after consultation and the final price will be agreed upon in the signing of the final contract. For your convenience a list of rates and typical expenses is provided below:
Graphic Design = $85.00 per hour
Motion Graphic Design = $100.00 per hour
Editing Rate = $85.00 per hour
Encoding Rate = $25.00 per hour
Shooting Rate = $150.00 per hour (if needed)
It should also be noted that all content for items such as bulletins, menus or brochures must be provided by the client.
All graphic design projects require a deposit of 1/3 of the agreed upon price which is non refundable. The next 1/3 of your balance is due upon first review of the design and the final 1/3 is due upon the final review and approval after all revisions have been made.
If the client chooses to cancel the project for any reason after the contract has been signed and the design process has begun, the initial deposit will not be refunded and an additional cancellation fee will be assessed based on how many hours have already been dedicated to the project.
Due to the unique nature of each design project, an exact design schedule will be determined after initial consultation with the designer to best meet the client’s needs. Typical design projects are completed within 10 – 15 business days, however for print design projects, the scheduling will partially depend on third party printing availability. Jell Solutions strives to meet all of our client’s scheduling needs, however, if a client requests a design project to be completed in less time than agreed upon in the original contract a rush fee of 25% of the original price will be assessed.
If the client chooses to initiate a complete re-design of a logo, motion graphics project or print design project for any reason after the contract has been signed and the design process has begun, a re-design fee of $85 per hour ($100 per hour for motion graphics) will be assessed based on the amount of additional hours required to start the design process over.
Jell Solutions strives to provide quality video production for any budget. Because of the unique nature of each client’s production needs, pricing will be determined after the initial consultation and a formal quote with all estimated expenses will be issued within 2-3 business days after consultation. However a list of rates and typical expenses is provided below for your convenience.
Shooting Rate = $150.00 per hour (Minimum of 1 hour charge)
Motion Graphic Design = $100.00 per hour
Editing Rate = $85.00 per hour.
Encoding Rate = $25.00 per hour.
Travel Expense Rate = $0.50 per mile (if outside of a 20 mile radius)
JELL GENERAL POLICIES
All projects require a deposit of either 1/2 or 1/3 of the estimated price depending on the size of the project. The deposit is non-refundable. The remainder of the balance will be billed after completion of the project. If payment is not received within 30 days of the final invoice date a late fee of $25.00 will be applied to the client’s invoice. If payment is not received within 60 days of the invoice date, a late fee of $5 per day will be applied to the invoice until the amount owed is paid in full.
All projects require lead time of at least two weeks for scheduling purposes. If a client has an immediate need we will do our best to accommodate but an additional rush fee of 25% of the base price may be assessed depending on the extent of the project.
EVENT HOURS OVERAGE:
For event photography and videography, if actual hours exceed the hours originally contracted for the event a fee of $200.00 per additional hour will be assessed unless the client clearly states that the photographer is to leave the event at the specified time regardless of whether the event has ended.
If the client chooses to cancel a project for any reason, other than failure of Jell Solutions to fulfill the contract, after the contract has been signed and the production process has begun, the initial deposit will not be refunded and an additional cancellation fee may assessed based on how many hours have already been dedicated to the project.
Estimates are provided to clients after initial consultation but are NOT a guarantee of the final cost of the project, as there are many variables involved with projects such as video production (i.e. how much footage is to be shot, where the shots are to take place, etc.). If the actual cost is projected to exceed more than 20% of the estimated cost the client will be notified and client approval will be required before the project continues.
Production schedules for video projects are dependent on a number of variables including cast availability, site availability, how much footage is to be shot, where the shots are to take place and whether any motion graphic design is required. Due to these many variables and the unique nature of each video production project, a projected production schedule will be determined after consultation and included in the contract if needed.
Jell Solutions provides all video, photography, sound and editing equipment to be used for all projects. We use all HD cameras to ensure the highest quality final product. If any special equipment is needed to complete a project that is not already owned by Jell Solutions, it will be rented and the expense will be invoiced to the client. If rented equipment is needed, this will be disclosed to the client prior to use and client approval will be required.
RETURN CHECK FEES:
If a check is returned to Jell Solutions as non-sufficient funds the client will be invoiced for the return check fee plus and additional $15.00 and may be required to pay in cash.
At Jell Solutions we strive to maintain good communication with all of our clients and respond to all e-mails and phone calls in a timely manner, however we do ask for consideration and allow at least a 48 hours for us to respond to your questions and concerns. Many aspects of our business require that we work on weekends and off hours, however our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and does not include weekends or holidays
